Premium Shoe Polish – The Most Important Shoe Care Product

Leather shoe care has a clear goal: protecting the leather against dehydration while preserving the upper’s shine and smoothness. Shoe polish is the most important product for achieving this. It nourishes and protects the leather, and also revives its colour. Famaco premium shoe polish consists of beeswax, carnauba wax, turpentine and natural pigments. This special combination protects the leather and guarantees long-lasting shine. Famaco is a leading French shoe care brand known for its high-quality shoe polishes.

High-quality leather shoes are sturdy; however, without proper maintenance they dry out and lose their shine. Regular shoe polish application guarantees lasting smoothness and shine. Once applied, the wax protects the leather inside and out. The protective layer it creates means your shoe is safe from everyday wear and tear. It’ll even make water bead up on the surface of the shoe, instead of soaking through.

Paris and Beyond: Famaco Premium Shoe Polish

Before using Famaco premium shoe polish, you should remove any dust or dirt from your shoes. Then apply a thin layer of shoe polish to the shoe with a dauber brush or a cotton cloth, using circular motions. Allow the leather to dry for a couple of minutes, then wrap a cotton cloth around your index finger to apply another layer of shoe polish to the leather upper, paying particular attention to the shoe toe and heel. Once it’s dried, the hard wax in the shoe polish forms a protective layer that guards the leather from soiling and scuffing. It’s best to let the polish sink in overnight. The soft waxes in Famaco premium shoe polish ensure that the protective layer stays in place, even on the parts of the shoe that are subjected to the most wear.

The Frenchman Frédéric Pfirter developed his first shoe polish, »cirage de luxe« in his Parisian flat in 1931. In 1974, his son took over the family enterprise and brought it to nationwide and international prominence.

Famaco premium shoe polish is available in 100ml tins in the following varieties: colourless, dark brown, light brown, medium brown, black and yellow.
