Visit nowBefore applying shoe polish and polishing your shoes, you need to start by removing any soiling on the shoe upper. If this is not removed, it might damage the leather and cause it to age prematurely. A dust brush is perfect for the job. This kind of brush has slightly shorter bristles than a polishing brush does. Even though the bristles of a dust brush are just as densely packed as the bristles of a polishing brush, the shorter bristles feel a bit more flexible and are not as soft. Softness is not necessary for dust brush bristles, though; they just need to be undyed and made of natural fibres. Bristles made of synthetic fibres might scratch shoe leather.
Burgol’s dust brush is made with fine horsetail hair, and is perfect for pre-cleaning shoes. The bristles of this brush, as is the case for all of Burgol’s brushes, are threaded through the brush’s wooden head by hand. This prevents the bristles from falling out. It is important that the bristles of the brush are not too long. Otherwise, the brush would fall apart over time. The bristles on Burgol’s dust brush have a length of 15 millimetres, the proven ideal length for removing dirt or dust clinging to shoes. Burgol’s dust brush is first-rate, robust, and handmade, and does an excellent job of caring for your shoes. The dust brush is available in light and dark varieties.
