It not only makes this classic plain Derby with its nubuck upper leather a fashionable companion with its sporty flair, but also guarantees its wearer an ultra-light ride.
The soft suede of the Calfskin is combined with the clear lines of the shaft design. Alongside to the Oxford, the Derby is probably the most sought-after men's lace-up style. The open five-eyelet lacing is characteristic of this low-rise model and allows for easier entry and exit for the wearer.

The Dutch last is distinguished by its comfortable width, particularly at the front of the foot. As such, it is similar to the classic last. It tapers slightly at the midfoot area, making it particularly well suited for average-width to wide feet.
Processed nubuck is a particularly fine type of rough leather, and has short fibres. Taken from the grain side of calf hide, nubuck is velvety, soft, and resistant to dust. It is correspondingly easy to care for—simply brush the leather regularly with a suede brush.
Mass-produced shoes are glued together on assembly lines. All of our premium, full-leather shoes, on the other hand, are handcrafted to the finest standards of quality. You can see and feel the difference.
These shoes consist of roughly 65 separate parts. They took about 210 steps to assemble. We rely upon premium materials and traditional production methods to ensure that our footwear is of the absolute highest quality.
