All polo fans are familiar with fixed-strap Jodhpur boots. These traditional buckled boots were favoured by 19th-century British soldiers stationed in India, who wore them while playing polo. Unlike coarse military boots, Jodhpur boots featured a shaft that ended briefly above the ankle, ensuring a greater degree of comfort in tropical temperatures.
